The theme of being unique is a core principal for Pango Apparel. When creating the brand for the company, we challenged ourselves to find a unique identity. We talked about the unicorn, discussed fingerprints, one’s DNA helix, and floated a few other ideas. But the little guy who won the day was the pangolin.

Though many think of them as reptiles, pangolins are actually mammals. They are the only mammals wholly-covered in scales and they use those scales to protect themselves from predators in the wild. If under threat, a pangolin will immediately curl into a tight ball and will use their sharp-scaled tails to defend themselves.

Included below is a photo of yours truly, at the 2022 Boston Marathon.  Why show that here?  To show you that I will work tirelessly for you.  Never having run anything more that a few yards in my life, in my mid-50s I began running competitively, including marathons.  While I am by no means fast, my fourth such marathon resulted in a Boston qualifying time, and I did get to run Heartbreak Hill (okay struggle up it) in 2022.  Oh yeah, at the ripe old age of 60.  That determination is what we bring to Pango Apparel and what we will bring to your project.
